Humax LP32-TDR1 TV -
Definitely One To Recommend
by Scott James
With Xmas heading towards us at an ever growing rate,
now is the time of year that most of us review what
state our own TV and DVD players are in so as not to
miss out on all of the latest TV and Satellite movies.
The aim of this article is to help you make your mind up
if you are interested in buying a Humax LP32-TDR1.
Buying a new television nowadays is a major
investment. If you are going to spend what could be
considered a small fortune or at the very least a large
amount of money then it would be prudent to try and make
the correct decision at the outset.
Ensuring that any purchase you make is to all intent
and purposes future-proof has to be the most major of
all criteria when deciding which TV to buy.
The latest telecommunication system for broadcasting
moving pictures and sound is known as Digital television
(DTT) and as the name implies this relies upon the
transmission and reception of digital signals as opposed
to the more conventional analogue formats. Introduced in
the late 1990s, this technology appealed to the
television broadcasting business and consumer
electronics industries as offering new financial
opportunities.
For the purposes of this article we want to take a
look at purchasing a new Flat Screen Television and in
this case the television in question is the Humax
LP32-TDR1.
The LP32-TDR1 is a 32in LCD TV and these TV's at
present can be found in the region of 800 pounds
sterling or 1600 US dollars. The resolution of the
screen is 1366 X 768 and with regards to being HD Ready
the answer is yes. The Humax has 2 (2 RGB) scarts and
the type and number of Multimedia interfaces the
LP32-TDR1 uses is HDMI and1. The type of Tuner for this
TV is Analogue and Digital and the Humax is available
from a wide variety of outlets.
So given this information, what would be our view of
the Humax LP32-TDR1?
The most obvious place to start with as far as TV's
are concerned would be the picture quality and our score
here would be 8 out of 10, next we would look at the
sound quality and our view of this would be 6 out of 10.
Taking a look at the number of relevant connections and
their availability, our score would be 8 out of 10. As
far as overall features are concerned we would give it
10 out of 10, and the final individual verdicts would
relate to the ease of use and overall value for money
and our scores here would be 8 out of 10 and 10 out of
10 respectively.
Taking everything into consideration our overall view
of the package would be the idea behind the concept of
combining a TV and a HDD player is absolutely brilliant
and one that more should follow. Definitely one to
recommend to your friends.
With the wide range and variety of makes and models
available for you to choose from it is unlikely that you
will not find something to suite your taste or satisfy
any budgetary constraints that you might have.
It probably doesn't need repeating but might be an
idea, this is only our opinion of the Humax LP32-TDR1
and not an official endorsement of the Humax LP32-TDR1
either way, good or bad.
We ask all readers to remember that the information
in this article regarding the price of the TV's are
there for illustrative purposes and are meant as a
guideline rather than an absolute quote and should be
considered thus.
